To edit my music video I used a program called Adobe Premier Pro on the edit suites. To get my video onto the edit suite, I was shown how to plug the video camera into the computer and shown that I had to watch the video before I could start to edit. Watching the video meant that the video was been stored onto the computer, allowing me to edit my video.
Once the video was onto the computer, I used a program called Dolby Preimer Pro to help me sort out which clips I did want to keep and which clips I didn't want to keep. Once I had done that I was now able to edit, I first put my clips into the order that they would be shown in the video. After this I cut down the clips, so that I didn't have any footage which was to longer or had any footage which I didn't like. Once I had cut down my clips, I then started to to fade in clips and fade out clips. To do this I used a pen tool and placed dots on the clips which I wanted to fade in and fade out. I placed two different dots, one at the place I wanted the clips to start fading out and one at the end of the clip. On some clips I wanted one clip to fade into another, to do this I just placed the clip I wanted to fade underneath the clip that was fading out.
Next I added the track to the video. On some of the clips Sarah is miming to the song, so I had to make sure that she was miming in time to the song. To do this, I had to move some of the clips around. Adding the track to the video, made it a lot to easier to edit as I'm editing to the beat of the track.
Also I needed to make sure that I had muted any background noise, to do this I locked the video clips (this made sure I didn't delete any of my video clips or the track) and deleted the background noise. Once the background noise had been deleted, the audio could be heard throughout the track.
I added three title sequences to my music video, to do this I clicked New, title. On the first title sequence I had the name of the track, the font colour of my first title is pink. The next title I added was at the end of my video, this title included song lyrics from the song, again written in pink. The last title sequence I added was the producers name and the artist's name.
