Design's for Advertisement

I'm going to come up with a few designs for my own advertisement just to get some idea of what my advertisement would actually look like before I create it.

I have come up with two different designs. The first design is this one;

This is a more simple design, at the top of the page there is the main title. The background colour in this area will be black and the font red. Underneath the main title will be the strap line, the background colour will be red and the font black. Taking up most of the page will be the main image which will either be a screenshot from the music video or a image of the artist. Underneath the main image will be another strap line which will have the release date of the video, again the background will be black and the font red just like the main title area of the advert.
This advert has the conventions which an audience would expect to see on a actual advert, it's just a simpler design.
The colour scheme which I would use on this advert would be black and red as my video features the same colour scheme. That way both my video and advert follow the same scheme and the audience will be able to tell that the advert is promoting the music video.

The second design is this one;

I prefer this design to the first design I came up with as I think it promotes the video better. I have grid which will hold 16 different images and I was going to use two screen shots in the grid.

This design has a main title which gives the name of the music video and the artist starring in the video. On my plan of this advert, I have used a black font for the word 'starring' but I have since changed my mind and decided to use a white font for this word. The background colour is going to be black and the track name and artist will be written in red font. The strap line which takes up a small corner and reads 'Official Music Video', the background will be red and the writing in a black font.
Underneath the main title is the main image which will consist of 16 different images from the video and some of the artist. I'm not sure if I'm going to use 16 different image's or use the same four photographs, just in a different order. I will create both adverts, one with 16 different images and one with the same four images to see which one works better.
Underneath the main image is another strap line, which will feature a lyric from the track 'GaGa Oh La La'. Again the background will be black and the writing in a red font.
I'm going to be using a red and black colour scheme for this advert, as my video features the colours red and black.
I have decided to use this as my advertisement as I think the layout of the advert works better than the first design. And in my opinion looks a lot better than the first design.
